Boat and Coxswain Academy 2008

The 2008 Boat Crew & Coxswain Academy concluded on 26 & 27 April with three Coxswain and six Boat Crew members passing their qualification reviews from division seven- just in time to volunteer their new skills for the Rose Festival activities!

Flotilla 73 has sponsored and staffed the Academy for the past three years with classes open to all Division members. Valuable assistance was provided by USCG members of Sector and Station Portland as well as volunteer mentors from Division 07 Flotillas.

Thanks to all who helped make the 2008 Academy a success and congratulations to all members who participated, especially those who attained their new qualification.
